Turner Traffic is a specialist traffic and transport engineering consultancy based in NSW. Founded in 2023, Turner Traffic provides practical and commercially focused advice across development, infrastructure and government projects. James Turner
BE (Hons) MIEAust CPEng NER APEC Engineer IntPE(Aus) | Level 3 RSA
James Turner is the Director of Turner Traffic and a Traffic & Transport Engineer with over 15 years' experience delivering infrastructure and development projects across NSW. Since 2010, James has contributed to more than 600 projects through his work with Arup and led the Traffic Engineering Discipline for NSW & ACT between 2020 and 2024.
He has extensive experience in leading transport teams in a multidisciplinary environment across a range of technical advisory, engineering and design projects. James applies risk management and common sense in traffic and transport engineering to achieve practical solutions.
He has a wide range of experience providing technical advisory, transport planning, traffic engineering and design advice. He comfortably liaises with authorities, architects, planners, project managers and contractors.
James has diverse range of skills in the specialist traffic engineering discipline especially with traffic analysis, transport assessment reporting, transport management and intersection/road design. This has been demonstrated on a variety of developments and road projects.
